description PURPOSE: To evaluate the effect of rakthamoksha in Sandhigata vata. There are different type of joints like Fibrous, Cartilaginous & Synovial the sandhigata vata can affect the joints. My study is to evaluate the effect of rakthamoksha in sandigata vata. METHOD: After poorvakarma by doing sneha and swedana a tourniquet is applied tightly 4 inches above the selected area to facilitate bleeding. Then pricking is done it's not deep. When the required amount of blood is let out the tourniquet is released. RESULT: Patient got relief from pain due to sandigada vata. CONCLUSION: It's a effective treatment that will bring quick relief of pain to sandigada vata patients.
