Crystal structure of ethyl 2-(4-chloro­anilino)acetate

The title compound, C(10)H(12)ClNO(2), is close to planar (r.m.s. deviation for the 14 non-H atoms = 0.053 Å). In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯O(c) (c = carbox­yl) hydrogen bonds generate R (2) (2)(10) loops.
