Sumario:In the title compound, C(15)H(10)ClFO(2)S, the dihedral angle between the plane of the benzo­furan ring system [r.m.s. deviation = 0.013 (1) Å] and that of the 3-fluoro­phenyl ring [r.m.s. deviation = 0.005 (1) Å] is 31.36 (5)°. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by two different pairs of C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
