Sumario:Actinomycosis is a rare chronic bacterial infectious disease in childhood. A 14-year-old boy admitted with cramping abdominal pain and vomiting. Physical examination revealed right lower quadrant tenderness. Appendectomy was performed. On the histological section, typical actinomycotic (sulfur) granules in the appendiceal lumen were observed.
