Early detection of these abnormalities is of particular importance. CASE PRESENTATION: We report a case of thin cord syndrome (TCS) in a 30-year-old pregnant woman with suprapubic pain. After termination of pregnancy, histopathologic assessment confirmed the TCS. CONCLUSIONS: In all cases with suspected abortion, the umbilical cord disorder should be considered.
