description Apathetic form of thyrotoxicosis occurs in the elderly who can present with features of hyperglycemia, hypothyroidism, depression, or an internal malignancy. We discuss an 84-year-old woman who presented with fatigue and uncontrolled diabetes due to apathetic thyrotoxicosis.
