PubMed database was employed as the article source of this review. This article summarized the processing methods of the explanted heart, including dissection, histopathologic examination, cryopreservation, and genetic testing. A standard processing of explanted hearts ensures the quality and reliability of samples. Analysis of explanted hearts facilitates the diagnostic assessment and therapy strategy of heart diseases. |
