Sumario:INTRODUCTION: The present study which is carried out in the field of medical anthropology seeks to investigate the meaningful medical behaviors of people with diabetes living in the village of Koohzar have taken to improve or reduce the problems associated with the disease regarding to knowledge and resources available in the country. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Field and in-depth study are used as research methods. After determining the people with diabetes which were 17 persons, interview and questionnaire have been used to collect the data. RESULTS: The findings indicate that 3 factors including lack of health facilities, poverty and financial problems and finally cultural issues are most influential factors in determining the health behaviors of villagers, respectively.
