description Autoimmune pancreatitis is a rare but important differential diagnosis from pancreatic cancer. Here we present the case of a 67-year-old male patient diagnosed with autoimmune pancreatitis but showing the well-known symptoms of pancreatic cancer. This emphasizes the difficulties of histological findings and the importance of the correct diagnostic process.
