Novel biphenyl-substituted 1,2,4-oxadiazole ferroelectric liquid crystals: synthesis and characterization

Two novel series of unsymmetrically substituted 1,2,4-oxadiazole viz., R.Ox.C(*)C(n) compounds are synthesized and characterized.
