Sumario:The purpose of this study is to follow up visual acuity in patients diagnosed with clinically significant macular edema and treated by an intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide or in combination with bevacizumab. The working method: based on the selectivity criteria we involved 295 patients (460 eyes), divided into 2 groups according to the treatment administered and one control group. The results showed a better preservation of the functional parameter for the group of patients treated with intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide and bevacizumab.
