A fatigue score was also evaluated at the same time. DISCUSSION AND EVALUATION: Marked reduction of disease activity and fatigue score were observed in the patient group. CONCLUSIONS: Belimumab is a novel form of therapy in patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus to be added in the standard of care particularly in patients with skin and joint symptoms.
