description Abstract. A taxonomic revision of the Old-World representatives of the fern genus Orthiopteris is presented. Orthiopteris acuminata, Orthiopteris caudata, Orthiopteris minor and Orthiopteris kingii are all reduced to varieties of Orthiopteris campylura.
