Sumario:Pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) are key components of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). We recently demonstrated that IP-10/CXCL10 is highly expressed by PSCs in the presence of pancreatic cancer cells (PCCs) and its expression correlates with infiltration by regulatory T cells (Tregs) and poor survival. Thus, stromal cells in pancreatic cancer can promote immunosuppression and tumor progression, through the expression of IP-10.
