Sumario:Background: Previous meta-analysis (Capodanno D, et al, 2012) concluded that in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) in world patients, novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs) significantly decreased incidences of all type of stroke and systemic embolism (SE) with similar risk of major bleeding compared to warfarin. But, it is unknown about efficacy and safety of NOACs compared to warfarin in East-Southeast Asian population.
