In this manuscript we review the understanding of why it happens, highlight novel management strategies and discuss the concept of penile rehabilitation (PR) following prostate cancer (PCa) treatment, glans preserving strategies among men diagnosed with penile cancer and address the controversial issue of testosterone therapy in men with PCa.
