Sumario:It is vital to evaluate the volume of the absorbing capacity and the amount of bleeding during endoscopic surgery. However, the monitoring equipment has been blank because of the monitoring methods applied currently have their inborn deficiency. The aim of this project is to design an intelligent system to monitor irrigating fluid absorption and blood loss in the endoscopic surgery rapidly and accurately. The system is based on the capacity balancing method, using the computer technology and pressure sensor to calculate irrigating fluid intake and output. The concentration of hemoglobin in the effluent is monitored by a photoelectric probe using photoelectric conversion. According to the effluent volume and preoperative hemoglobin concentration reached the amount of blood loss. Based on the irrigating fluid intake and output, blood loss and urine volume, the absorption of irrigating fluid can be calculated immediately. In order to realize the real-time monitoring during the surgery. The monitoring equipment we developed can accurately evaluate the volume of the absorbing capacity and the amount of bleeding during endoscopic surgery, which can guarantee the safety of the endoscopic surgery, improve the patients’ prognosis and yield economic and social benefits.
