Inverted Takotsubo cardiomyopathy after attempted suicidal hanging – Two cases

We report two cases of “Inverted Takotsubo cardiomyopathy” following attempted suicidal hanging. Both the patients presented with heart failure and had desaturation 8–12 h after the suicidal attempt.
