Sumario:Drug-induced interstitial lung disease is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Everolimus is an inhibitor of mTOR, a mammalian target of rapamycin, used as an immunosuppressant agent in solid organ transplant. Everolimus has been associated with interstitial lung disease in solid organ transplant patients but has been rarely reported in the liver transplant patient population. We report a case of interstitial pneumonitis in a liver transplant patient associated with everolimus which completely resolved after discontinuation of the medication.
