The title compound, [AuCl(C(26)H(22)OP(2)S)]·0.5CH(2)Cl(2), crystallizes with a trans-O—P⋯P—S geometry of the groups either side of the C=C double bond, which prevents any intramolecular contact between the Au and O atoms.
