Robot-Assisted Retroperitoneoscopic Surgery for Synchronous Contralateral Ureteral Metastasis of Renal-Cell Carcinoma

Renal-cell carcinoma (RCC) with synchronous metastasis to contralateral ureter is extremely rare with only four cases reported in the literature. We report a case of synchronous metastatic RCC to the contralateral ureter with effective robot-assisted retroperitoneoscopic nephron-sparing surgery that...

Sumario:Renal-cell carcinoma (RCC) with synchronous metastasis to contralateral ureter is extremely rare with only four cases reported in the literature. We report a case of synchronous metastatic RCC to the contralateral ureter with effective robot-assisted retroperitoneoscopic nephron-sparing surgery that leads to favorable oncologic and functional outcome.
