Sumario:Neurothekeomas are rare benign tumors commonly found on the head, neck, and upper extremities of women and younger individuals. They are thought to be of nerve sheath origin and usually present as painless, slow growing masses. We present a case of cellular neurothekeoma on the nasal ala of an 8-year-old girl with no previous history of trauma or piercings. Differential diagnosis, treatment options, and special considerations regarding potentially atypical characteristics are discussed.
