description In this report we describe the case of an 18 year old female who presented with fever, shortness of breath, and chest pain. She started smoking 3 weeks prior to the onset of symptoms and based on her clinical presentation, BAL findings and dramatic improvement, acute eosinophilic pneumonia (AEP) was diagnosed.
