Standard of Spectral Radiance for the Region of 0.25 to 2.6 Microns
This paper contains information relating to the setting up of standard blackbodies for use through the temperature range of about 1,400° to 2,400° K and their use in the calibration of tungsten strip lamps as laboratory standards of spectral radiance for the wavelength region of 0.25 to 2.6 microns....

Sumario: | This paper contains information relating to the setting up of standard blackbodies for use through the temperature range of about 1,400° to 2,400° K and their use in the calibration of tungsten strip lamps as laboratory standards of spectral radiance for the wavelength region of 0.25 to 2.6 microns. A graphite blackbody is described and representative data are given on the spectral characteristics of the new lamp standard as compared to blackbodies at several selected temperatures. |
