Water Splitting: A Targeted “Capture” and “Removal” Scavenger toward Multiple Pollutants for Water Remediation based on Molecular Recognition (Adv. Sci. 3/2016)

For adsorbents used in water remediation, the long‐standing contradictions between selectivity and multiple adsorbability, and affinity and recyclability, have led to difficulties in applications towards environmental crises. In article number 1500289, Q. Yuan and co‐workers create a versatile scave...

Sumario:For adsorbents used in water remediation, the long‐standing contradictions between selectivity and multiple adsorbability, and affinity and recyclability, have led to difficulties in applications towards environmental crises. In article number 1500289, Q. Yuan and co‐workers create a versatile scavenger that cleverly avoids such contradictions by integrating the advantages of multiple functional materials. The scavenger exhibits great promise for applications in the next generation of water purification systems. [Image: see text]
