Sumario:Liposarcoma is a rare malignant mesenchymal tumor usually located in the retroperitoneal space. Hepatic location is extremely rare, few cases have been reported in the literature. We report the case of a 58 year old patient presenting with abdominal pain and the presence of a palpable mass in the right hypochondrium gradually increased in size. Abdominal ultrasound showed hyperechoic well-defined round mass. Tomodensitometry and abdominal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmed the presence of a mass with a fatty component occupying almost the entire right liver. The patient underwent right hepatectomy and histological examination showed primary undifferentiated liver liposarcoma.
