These tumors are a rare cause of central vertigo in adults. The treatment of diffuse gliomas is based on radiation therapy. We here report the case of a 35-year old female patient with low grade brainstem glioma revealed by balance disorders, in order to highlight the different clinical, paraclinical and radiological aspects of this disease as well as the therapeutic tools and the progressive methods.
