description The growth of CuSO(4) crystals from a nonaqueous solvent, composed of (NH(4))(2)SO(4) and H(2)SO(4) is described. Solubility of CuSO(4) in solvents of varying (NH(4))(2)SO(4) to H(2)SO(4) ratio, at 200 °C, has been determined, as well as the temperature dependence of the solubility in 0.35(NH(4))(2)SO(4) — 0.65H(2)SO(4). Single crystal specimens, weighing up to 150 mg have been obtained.
