Tritium-Labeled Compounds VIII. Confirmation of the Position of the Tritium in d-Glucose-6-t and d-Glucitol-5-t

The radiochemical purity of d-glucose-6-t and d-glucitol-5-t was established by oxidation of the labeled compounds and determination of the radioactivity of the products. The results show that, in each instance, the tritium is present solely in the position cited.
