Efficient Syntheses of [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)[α-Mo(8)O(26)] and [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)[Mo(2)O(7)]

Efficient and simple syntheses of [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)[α-Mo(8)O(26)] (I) and [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)[Mo(2)O(7)] (II) from MoO(3) and aqueous [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N]OH are described. The yield is 72% for I and 73% for II.
