description The above article from the Journal of Diabetes Investigation, published online on 25 August 2016 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal Editor in Chief, Nigishi Hotta, and John Wiley & Sons Australia, Ltd. The retraction has been agreed due to duplication of the figures from another study. The editors reviewed the matter with the peer reviewers and confirmed that Figure 3 (p.441) of Pang et al. (2016) was re‐used as Figure 1, that Figure 6A (p.43) of Pang et al. (2016) was re‐used as Figure 5(a) and (b) and that Figure 6B (p.443) of Pang et al. (2016) was re‐used as Figure 6(a) and (b).
