Serum albumin and osmolality inhibit Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus predation in human serum

We evaluated the bactericidal activity of Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus, strain HD100, within blood sera against bacterial strains commonly associated with bacteremic infections, including E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Salmonella enterica.
