Differences in Dihydrotetrabenazine Isomer Concentrations Following Administration of Tetrabenazine and Valbenazine

BACKGROUND: Tetrabenazine (TBZ) activity is thought to result from four isomeric dihydrotetrabenazine (HTBZ) metabolites ([+]-α-HTBZ, [−]-α-HTBZ, [+]-β-HTBZ, [−]-β-HTBZ).
