Ribotypes Matter, Significance of Clostridium difficile Ribotypes in Cancer Patients with Diarrhea

BACKGROUND: Cancer patients are at increased risk for Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) due to frequent health care contact, chemotherapy, use of antibiotics, and immunosuppression.
