Sumario: | We present the case of a patient who was diagnosed by chance with macular hypopyon during a conventional interdisciplinary examination. The clinical context and the association of a systemic disease, such as uncontrolled type 1 diabetes, rendered further investigations in this patient. Due to his immunocompromised status, etiology such as ocular fungi, lymphomas, tuberculosis was taken into account. Thorough complex investigations oriented the diagnosis towards ocular tuberculosis involvement. |
