description | BACKGROUND AND AIMS: the administrative and financial activities are the most important affairs in any organization and include all affairs related to assets, staffs, formulating and implementing rules related to staff, supply of equipment and equipment for the organization. According to necessity of documentation and integration the different processes for each organizational unit, the aim of this study was identifying and promoting of administrative and financial processes of Management & Medical informatics faculty, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. METHODS: This study was a qualitative research with action research approach. Based on this approach after identifying the problem, planning is done for data collection. Planning includes recognizing the current condition of administrative and financial processes, identifying tasks and job description related to these processes and designing proper process by employee opinions about the process. Interviews were conducted in order to identify current conditions and proper form of process in implementation phase. Proper form of the process was found after negotiation with employee and was shown in the flowcharts. Checklist was used for assessing results. RESULTS: There were no documented processes, before the study period. After the interviews, it became clear that employees apply too much personal opinions in all process. After the transcription and assessing interviews, according to job description and employee opinion, proper form of the processes were drawn. totally 44 process was identified and drawn that included 7 process related to public affairs office, 16 process related to staffing process, 2 process related to the secretariat, 12 accounting process and 7 process related to property office. CONCLUSION: In this study, the proper form of all process were identified and presented in the form of a booklet. Correct form and step by step process can avoid from arbitrary and sporadic in affairs, as well as duplication, waste of time and resources and customer dissatisfaction. |
