Addition of dithi(ol)anylium tetrafluoroborates to α,β-unsaturated ketones

In the presented study, dithi(ol)anylium tetrafluoroborates are added to α,β-unsaturated ketones in a Michael-type reaction yielding diverse substituted ketene diothi(ol)anes.
