With the advancement of surgical techniques and availability of safer anaesthetic drugs and equipments it is possible to provide anaesthesia to even premature babies. This article gives a comprehensive review of the anatomical and physiological differences between the adult and the pediatric population and the anaesthetic implications of the various neurosurgical disorders.
