Sumario: | Esophageal lung (EL) is a highly rare anomaly, wherein the bronchus of a lung connects directly with the esophagus. Repeated lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) is the hallmark of this condition. We present the clinical images of a 5-month-old boy who presented with repeated LRTI since birth. On evaluation, EL was diagnosed. Excision of the lung with abnormally communicating bronchus and primary repair of the esophagus was curative. |
