Sumario: | We report the case of a 23-year-old male who suffered localised testicular infarction and rupture following blunt trauma. This pathology is rare after blunt trauma and has not been previously described in literature. The appearance on ultrasound resembled malignancy, necessitating orchidectomy. An overview of the pathology of testicular trauma as well as its management is given with particular emphasis on the use diagnostic ultrasound in testicular trauma. |
