Sumario: | Nowadays, more and more Chinese medicine practices are applied in the world and popularizing that becomes an urgent task. To meet the requiremets, an increasing number of Chinese - English traditional medicine dictionaries have been produced at home or abroad in recent decades. Nevertheless, the users are still struggling to spot the information in dictionaries. What traditional medicine dictionaries are needed for the English speakers now? To identify an entry model for online TCM dictionaries, I compared the entries in five printed traditional medicine dictionaries and two online ones. Based upon this, I tentatively put forward two samples, “阳经 (yángjīng)” and “阴经 (yīn jīng)”, focusing on concepts transmitting, for online Chinese - English TCM dictionaries. |
