Therefore, there is an indeed need to identify new biomarkers for early diagnosis and prognosis that could serve to open novel therapeutic means. This article briefly introduces the latest reports in proteomic studies of lung cancer. It contains diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers, and a summary based on the most recent literature and our own work.
