description Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic, autoimmune disease that present with intra-articular and extra-articular manifestations. Auditory system may be involved during the course of RA disease due to numbers of pathologies. The link between hearing impairment and RA has been discussed in the previous literature.
