First report on cutaneous infectious granuloma caused by Schizophyllum commune

BACKGROUND: Schizophyllum commune, a basidiomycetous fungus, is a common invader of rotten wood. This fungus rarely causes mycotic disease in humans, especially cutaneous infection.
