description Elevated left atrial (LA) pressures are associated with poor prognosis in heart failure (HF). We aim to review the current available percutaneously implantable sensors for haemodynamic telemonitoring of LA-pressures (direct LAP sensor device-HeartPOD; right ventricular device-Chronicle; pulmonary artery device-CardioMEMs).
