Forecasting next season’s Ixodes ricinus nymphal density: the example of southern Germany 2018

The castor bean tick, Ixodes ricinus (L.) (Ixodida: Ixodidae), is the principal vector of pathogens causing tick-borne encephalitis or Lyme borreliosis in Europe.
