Sumario: | The thermal decomposition of imidoyl azides (ArO-C=N-Z)-N(3), (Ar = p-NO(2)-C(6)H(4)-, p-Br-C(6)H(4)-, p-Cl-C(6)H(4)-, p-C(6)H(5)-, p-CH(3)-C(6)H(4)-, 2,4-dimethyl-C(6)H(3)-, 2,4,6-trimethyl-C(6)H(2)-, p-CH(3)O-C(6)H(4)- and Z = p-CH(3)-C(6)H(4)-SO(2)-, 2,4,6-trimethyl-C(6)H(2)-SO(2)-, CN) in the solid phase and in anisole has been studied in detail. The sensitivity of nitrenes and nitrene precursors (imidoyl azides) towards substitution changes in the aryloxy (ArO) and Z moieties is examined. |
