description Four new meroterpenoids 1–4 and four new isocoumarinoids 5–8, along with five known isocoumarinoids (9–13), were isolated from the fungus Myrothecium sp. Their structures were elucidated by means of spectroscopic analysis, X-ray crystallography, ECD spectra and quantum chemical calculations. Compounds 1–5, 7, 9 and 10 showed weak α-glucosidase inhibition with the IC(50) values of 0.50, 0.66, 0.058, 0.20, 0.32, 0.036, 0.026 and 0.37 mM, respectively.
