Sumario: | The autoimmune polyglandular syndrome is a sequential chain of autoimmune events. Whenever diagnosed, the clinician's target should be induction of remission and if possible hindering its progression especially if associated with refractory vitiligo, resistant Grave's, or unexplained hyperglycemia in T1DM. Azathioprine could be used for induction of remission in autoimmune polyglandular syndrome type three especially with vitiligo and autoimmune thyroiditis. |
