Synthesis of the Aspidosperma Alkaloid N(a)-Formyl-16-α- Hydroxyaspidospermidine
The first total synthesis of N(a)-formyl-16α-hydroxyaspidospermidine and its isomer via (°)-vincadifformine is described and their structure elucidation using different methods of analysis is reported.
